About the Author
Bradley A. Shellito is a geographer whose work focuses on the application of geospatial technologies. Dr. Shellito has been a professor at Youngstown State University (YSU) since 2004, and was previously a faculty member at Old Dominion University. He teaches classes in GIS, Remote Sensing, GPS, and 3D Visualization and his research interests involve using these concepts with a variety of real-world issues. He also serves as YSU s PI in OhioView, a statewide geospatial consortium. A native of the Youngstown area, Dr. Shellito received his bachelor s degree from YSU, his Masters from the Ohio State University, and his doctorate from Michigan State University."

So far this textbook has been able to allow me to complete my homework. I appreciate that I can purchase it as an ebook as it's more convenient than buying the textbook and waiting for it to come. It's also thankfully more affordable.What I dislike about this book is the fact that somehow it doesn't function in a page format. Instead of pages, it has "location." There is 19,880 locations in this book. I don't know what the hell that means. It makes attempting to read the text FRUSTRATING as you can see in the picture. I've highlighted where the text is ABSOLUTELY missing meaning that I could potentially miss details while reading. I'd waste time having to play with the size of the reading area and/or the text, but I figured out that I could merely add a highlight to the text to add to notes, then check the notes or check back and the text would be back to normal then unhighlight it. That I have to FIGHT to read the book is just absolutely atrocious. I don't know if the content of the book makes it hard to format it in pages instead of location, but it's giving me a headache.
