There is nothing better than using upyour scraps from quilting.Sometimes it can be difficultcreating that special something outof scraps.This is where Judy's book helps supportyou into making the most amazing quilts.Judy has written this book with the readerin mind.She has written it to encourage quiltersto feel unconfined and adventurous.She has designed the patterns so thatyou can use any fabric no matter how strange.I love the fact she hasn't used one size of scrap.She has used 3 1/2-, 4 1/2-, 5 1/2- inch blocks.The book starts by taking you through the basicsand clear images and pictures are suppliedthroughout.She takes you through everything so thatyou can also create your own quiltswith your scraps.Then it's straight into the projects.Judy has supplied you with a completetemplate giving you all the different sizesof quilts you can make and how manyblocks you will need to complete it.My favorite has to be the row of houses.It really shows that you can use any mixof fabrics and create an amazing quilt.This book is one I will be coming back totime and again.Everytime I have enough scraps I'llbe making another quilt from the book.A brilliant way to use up yourscraps of fabric!I received this book to review.However all opinions expressed are my own.No monies were exchanged.
A book that REALLY is about SCRAP quilts....not buy 3 yds of this and add to your scraps...it is about SCRAP quilts. A first as far as I am concerned. Great book!
I really like this book. The designs that I will actually make, especially in smaller sizes to use as wall hangings. But, I am vexed about how to download the patterns that are supposedly included in the book. I would appreciate suggestions about how to do this.

this book is terrific. lots of ideas for scrap quilts plus great instructions on how to prepare your scraps into usable pieces. I love it!
Attractive projects! A quick read, with some new quilting tips that I didn't know before. I'm looking forward to making some of the blocks, and gathering my scraps to use in the projects.
There are a great variety of scrap quilt projects that would be fun to make in this pattern book!
I did not care for this book. I returned it. The projects were to advanced for me and it would require to much time to make these quilts.
